Cupcakes, plants, newspapers, drink bottles and Amazon packages are arranged with a playful use of scale. An old tea room perches on top of the box. This juxtaposition invites the viewer to re-evaluate how these objects relate to one another. Throughout the painting runs my signature red thread motif, connecting the various intricacies in this curious piece.
