My selection of cupcakes, plants, newspapers, and delivery packages are placed together with a playful use of scale. The almond tree and background were inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s Almond Blossoms. This juxtaposition invites us to re-evaluate the objects’ relationships with one another. Throughout the painting runs my signature red thread motif, connecting the various intricacies of this curious artwork.
